Finally we've had time to practice & start ironing out the bugs in our hollow spindle spinning frame! Fancy yarns here we come! We are having a lot of fun combining alpaca colours & creating these fuzzy yarns as well as doing single colour mohair. It has been a challenge to find the various components of bouclé yarns as they have a core yarn as well as a binder. We want both those other components to colour match the fibre we're spinning. We're taking the simplest route in buying nylon for the binders, but we spin our own cores.
